Looking out from the back deck of my childhood home towards the creek at the bottom of the ravine. I'm actually not sure what to call this geographical feature — a small canyon, maybe? Whatever it is, it gave me endless hours of exploration and wonder as a child. I have an ongoing love for the natural world, no doubt fostered by this environment.
