We only spent a day in Olympic National Park — far too brief for how large and magnificent it is. There are no roads through the interior, so a day trip was all we could hope for; you'd have to circumnavigate the whole park to see everything apart from the interior wilderness. We were thankfully treated to a black bear sighting on our way out. I might have been a bit too eager for the photo and contributed to the bear jam.
